Very well put. Given his previous treatment by some he would have been well within his rights to blank any approach from us, especially as he had a job and was doing well.I think he has. If anything his legendary status. The worm was turning last time when he left. But he's a brave and gutsy man that loves our club. He hasn't come with plans and ideas about evolution and revolutions he has come because he's been called upon to sort out a shitshow at the club he loves. It's what we'd all do given the chance. I salute him because again with our new generation of fans wanting premier league he is also on a hiding to nothing. I hope he keeps us up. I believe he will and then hopefully move on with his reputation intact.
I wish him all the best. At least we know those players will put a fight up under bomber. It's what we need.
I think it speaks volumes for his character and genuine love of the club that he has taken this on.
Some of our support are total wankers and will probably treat him like shit again, and we don’t have a great track record of treating ‘our own’ well, look at Rhino and how Bomber was treated last time.
I hope he galvanises will the team and we get out of this ship, I’m certain we won’t surrender again like we did against Ipswich under Bomber.
We should be a team that always gives its all and punches above our weight, and I think in days gone by the vast majority of our fans accepted that as enough/realistic. Nowadays we have some proper strings who don’t get it, and frankly I wish they f@@@ off.
Good luck Neil a proper Millwall man.
