This club sums up all that is bad in the FA, they romp our league with a big backhander for being absolute shit in the premshit .....the same looks odds on again this season but will come down with another backhander ( for being absolute shit). and win the league again ,the premshit must Be the only concern where you get rewarded for being shit and gives them an unfair advantage over the rest of the championship , until the monies are fairly shared out teams like ours are just also runs who give 100%....agree with monies if you win promotion but for getting relegated ?

You’re right in what you say, but if we were in Norwich’s shoes - promotion, relegation, promotion, relegation, and £140M every time that happens, would you really complain then?

Eventually, Norwich will buy the right players in, and they’ll stay in the Prem for more than one season, and probably go on to become like Burnley and the Nigel’s, an established team in that division!

Agreed Phil - look at that game against Fulham early doors this season, half time comes and they bring a £30m player on! How on Earth can we hope to complete with that sort of nonsense picking up loan signings?

I've been saying that self same thing for ages Phil. I can't believe any country in the world, other than ours that rewards failure, not just in football but in all walks of life. Multi-pound pay offs and golden handshakes seem to be the norm for poor performances. My old mum used to say 'the bigger the rogue the better the luck'

Back in the day teams were rewarded with talent money, the higher you finished the more money you received. But I can't recall relegated clubs getting much if anything.
 
Would be well pissed off being a Norwich supporter, one season battering teams, the next being bartered, forking out to watch your team in the Premier league knowing you just cannot complete whilst the club pocket the money from the FA and your hard earned cash!!!
 
It’s bad enough for smaller clubs like us but then you also have teams like little old Burton who come up from league 1 to face the multi millionaires with their bloody huge parachutes. In days gone by you would expect the champions from the lower division to at least have a chance of finishing half way up in the division above.

Compete....?

In the Premiership, they can't even score....!!! Just two goals gathered in 9 games, both scored by Pukki.

I very much doubt that in the history of top flight football only one player has scored for a side in the opening 9 games....

And then, when they play runaway leaders of the Championship Bournemouth in the League Cup...they win 6-0....
 
They might well have smashed their way through a poor championship last season. But, the writing was there to see when it came to scoring goals. They couldn't score against a half decent defence...so what chance do they have against PL defences this season?

They huffed and puffed on two occasions and couldn't blow the 'Wall down...

And remember a couple of seasons before that when we were leading there going into injury time and lost 4-3.
