Agree with above but in terms of permanent players I think De Norre. For people that watch him week in & out you can see the quality he has on the ball. Lack of game time has hindered that but I expect him to be a top player for this club,
Aldo’s recruitment 23/24, was it really that bad? I am not so sure, for me anyway, given the financial restrictions within the club..
Good perm signings:
Casper De Norre
Sarkic
Good loans:
Tanganga
Longman
Obafemi
Jury is still out:
Nisbet - looks a decent goalscorer but always injured...
Ironically I think Dmac has looked one of our best players since playing at left back. I don’t necessarily think it needs to be left footed left back when he is preforming like that, going forward looks a different player.
Can anyone explain to me why he gets so much backlash from some of the fans?
I read a lot of the comments online about the FA cup replays and he himself has spoken to a Millwall fan channel stating:
"I don’t and didn’t agree with it and feel it’s spineless to use faceless spokespersons to try...
Just looking at the totals for the season. The last 16 home games we have had 10 sell outs (home ends) a FA cup game & a few midweeks where it’s always lower no matter who we seem to play.
I hope the club look at those midweeks & introduce the bringing a friend for £5/10 for all season ticket...
Flemming will be coming into his 3rd season next year anyway. Which means he will have 1 or maximum of 2 years left. I would be very surprised if the club don’t cash in fairly soon. Can’t be letting another player walk out the door for nothing again.
Respectfully, Birmingham have different revenue comparisons. A club known for its troubles with chairman & silly spending problems. So many variables it’s not really comparable.
Millwall have already announced their accounts for this year & after reading what Kieran Maguire wrote, we’re already...
Figures were based on last season. Next season’s account will show the real impact of the highest gates we’ve had this year & fingers crossed moving forward it continues to improve.
One of the main reason I would opt to sell Flemming if the money was correct. As would I let some of big earners who are inconsistent go. The club has to be ruthless to be sustainable.
