Yesterday Millwall confirmed that winger Gregg Wylde would leave the club this summer having agreed a mutual contract termination.
The 26 year old was signed last summer but has been limited to only ten appearances for the club since then, as well as spending time out on loan with Northampton Town this year where he took in a further 12 games.
His spell at Northampton came to an end after his picked up a groin injury and he’s since had successful surgery to correct the problem, but he will now be looking for a new team for next season.
Manager Neil Harris told the official site that with limited opportunities since his arrival, it was best for all parties if we parted ways.
‘Gregg is a great lad and an outstanding professional. Unfortunately his opportunities here at Millwall have been limited but I hope he can go on and succeed elsewhere. We wish him nothing but the best of luck in the future.’
In his time with us following his arrival as a free agent from Plymouth Argyle, he only made six starting appearances with only one in League One itself.
