Earlier in the week Millwall confirmed that midfielder David Worrall had now departed the club following a mutual termination of his contract.
The 27 year old joined Millwall back in June 2016 following a spell with Southend United, and last season he more than played his part in helping us to promotion to the Championship via the League One Play Off route with 41 appearances to his name, but his opportunities have been severely limited so far this year – making a single appearance against Stevenage in the first round of the EFL Cup.
The deal struck with the club sees him depart as a free agent so he can more quickly find himself a new employer and get himself going again.
Manager Neil Harris told the official site as the news was announced.
‘David has been a fantastic professional during his time with us. He has always worked incredibly hard, has a brilliant attitude and he played a crucial role in what was a memorable season for us last year. We wish him all the very best for what I`m certain will be a bright and successful career.’
