Millwall had earlier appealed the three match ban handed to on loan defender Andy Wilkinson following his straight red card in the game on Tuesday against Blackburn Rovers.
The FA have today revealed that appeal and informed Millwall that they won’t be overturning the decision on the pitch by the referee, therefore the on loan Stoke City right back will now miss the next three matches.
With how the international break falls, this means Wilkinson will not return to contention until our home Championship fixture against Middlesbrough on December 6.
