Millwall are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by Byron Webster in the three one victory over Oldham Athletic at the weekend at The Den was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Webster was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Millwall secured their place in the Sky Bet League 1 Play-Offs with a convincing 3-0 success over Oldham Athletic. Webster got himself on the scoresheet with two headers, sandwiching a Shane Ferguson goal, as the Lions notched a third straight victory.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Webster for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the three points.

Full Team:

Will Henry (Swindon Town), Scott Golbourne (Bristol City), Mark Hughes (Accrington Stanley), Byron Webster (Millwall), Billy Bodin (Bristol Rovers), Hamza Choudhury (Burton Albion), Jay O’Shea (Chesterfield), Yanic Wildschut (Wigan Athletic), Gary Hooper (Sheffield Wednesday), Ashley Fletcher (Barnsley), Scott Hogan (Brentford).

Manager – Sean Dyche (Burnley).
