It’s being reported that Yeovil Town’s caretaker manager Terry Skiverton has made an enquiry to take former centre half Byron Webster back on loan.

Webster was a fans favourite at Huish Park having helped them into the Championship, but he left the last summer following their first time relegation and made the move to The Den.

The 27 year old hasn’t featured for manager Ian Holloway for more than a month now though as the gaffer changes things around, and it’s believed that he is available for a short term loan spell at least to get some games under his belt again.

Hence Yeovil’s interest.

The problem for them appears to be Millwall would like him to move to a club closer to London and a club willing to contribute to his wages, which would put a move to Yeovil in doubt – especially with Colchester circling.

In his time at Yeovil he made 98 appearances over two seasons, and since moving to us he has made a total of 14 appearances, the last of which came in the three one defeat to Ipswich Town back in mid January.
