Coach Neil Harris has said that Millwall need greater levels of belief when we travel away from The Den, and with more belief we will improve our away form.

With the defeat to Blackburn Rovers being our third consecutive loss on the road, Harris told the official site that if the team learn to believe in themselves more when we do travel, we can really make the most of the upcoming festive period and make the most of the points that are available to us.

‘Millwall as a whole has put a lot of importance into home form, and nothing has changed now. But our away form now needs to pick up and we have to show more belief when we’re not at The Den.’

Harris goes on to say that he really does feel that one positive result on the road will give the side the confidence boost they need to go on and get a run of results and he doesn’t care if it comes in the Watford, Doncaster or Southend in the Cup games, but of course the sooner we can get that result the better for everyone.

As for the Boxing Day trip to Watford, Harris says that he knows it’s going to be a huge fixture for us, but he’s hoping that we can take advantage of their transitional period given they have appointed a new gaffer, and he knows that the fans will be doing their all during the game to spur the lads on, so it’s down to the players to respond to that and give them a result that sends everybody home happy.
