Out in front are Scunthorpe, a four-one win at Walsall kept them top.
Bradford continue to do well under Stuart McCall with a two-one win over Fleetwood at Valley Parade keeping them very much in promotion contention at the moment with Charlton remaining closer to relegation than promotion after another draw at an Oldham side who remain in the bottom four after a one-all draw at Valley Parade.
Chesterfield are doing much better than most would have thought but after a three-one win at the Proact Stadium Gillingham continued to rise up the table, which is something Port Vale are doing too after a three-one win against Millwall put them up to fifth and continues the Lions’ struggles.
The early season form of Bolton was very impressive but the form of late hasn’t been good, draws had become common but a one-nil defeat at Rochdale helped Dale up with the Trotters now clinging onto a play-off position.
A fifth win in six-matches from Sheffield United took them up to fifth and just four-points off top as a recovery from a poor start continued with Chris Wilder doing a great job at Bramall Lane with that one-nil win over Bristol Rovers.
His (Wilder’s) former club Northampton are also going well without him, Rob Page has guided last seasons League 2 Champions to fourth with a three-one win a Swindon secured.
