The League 1 season continued with the latest round of games played over midweek.
Scunthorpe lead the way ahead of Sheffield United in the automatic promotion places. No change to the bottom four with MK Dons, Oldham, Chesterfield and Shrewsbury holding these (unwanted) places.

The Scunthorpe promotion bid continues to go strong with the Iron keeping a six point lead at the top after a 2-0 win at play-off chasing Peterborough. However, Sheffield United are lurking, waiting for any slip up, with the Blades recording a 1-0 win after a last gap winner at Bramall Lane against Bury.
Also keeping up the pressure, on automatic promotion, are Bolton after they up recorded a 1-0 win at the Macron Stadium against Coventry. Bradford, with the Bantams also winning 1-0 at Valley Parade, beat Northampton with the Cobblers’ early season play-off push stuttering.
Charlton‘s win at the weekend, 2-0 against Port Vale, was followed up by another with the Addicks convincing 5-1 winners at the Memorial Stadium against Bristol Rovers with Rochdale another who won handsomely with a 4-0 win at Spotland against Walsall, keeping Dale in a play-off place.
Shrewsbury dropped to the bottom of table after a 3-0 defeat at Fleetwood. Chesterfield’s 3-2 win against fellow strugglers MK Dons took them above the Shrews however, the Spireites remain below MK Dons and Oldham, who drew 2-2 at Port Vale.
Millwall recovered from a weekend defeat, against Bolton, with the Lions picking up a point at the Den with the Lions having to be content with a 0-0 draw against Wimbledon.
