Fixtures
Tuesday 21st March 2017 – LEAGUE ONE
Coventry City v Port Vale 19:45
Oxford United v Bolton Wanderers 19:45
Rochdale v Millwall 19:45
If bottom of the league Coventry are to mount an unlikely great escape now is the time as the Sky Blues are 17 points from safety ahead of the visit from relegation rivals Port Vale. A third win in four for Vale would take them out of the bottom four and see Shrewsbury replace them.
Oxford could potentially move to within two points of a play-off place if they can record a victory over Bolton. However, the Trotters’ victory at the weekend took them into automatic promotion and they know another – a fourth in a row – at the Kassam Stadium could open a four point cushion on rivals Fleetwood.
A first win in 10 was recorded in emphatic fashion by Rochdale last time round with Dale targeting another against Millwall that could yet revive fading play-off hopes. The Lions’ draw on Saturday cost them sixth spot to Southend but this would be reclaimed with a victory at Spotland.
It goes without saying the expectation; most definitely the hope at least, will be for a positive result. But will this happen? We’ll find out soon enough.
Ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which requires you to vote in the latest poll in one of the options you have been given.
However, don’t just look also have a say. We don’t just want your vote, which you can do to the right, we also want some thoughts and views ahead of the game as well so share these below.
