Scunthorpe United v Millwall 18:30
Fleetwood know they’ll have to show improvement from Thursday’s first leg in the visit of Bradford to the Highbury Stadium this evening or the Cod Army’s dreams of playing in the Championship will end, with City – who of course hold a 1-0 lead from the first leg – going to Wembley later this month.
It’s very much all to play for, in the balance, finely poised, use the cliché you will for Scunthorpe v Millwall. A 0-0 draw at the Den means the Iron will be viewed as slight favourites in the visit of the Lions in, quite literally, a winner takes all tie this evening.
It goes without saying the expectation; most definitely the hope at least, will be for a positive result. But will this happen? We’ll find out soon enough.
