Fixtures

Thursday 4th May 2017 – LEAGUE ONE PLAY-OFFS
Bradford City v Fleetwood Town 19:45
Millwall v Scunthorpe United 19:45

Bradford, fifth, play host to Fleetwood, fourth, in the first leg of the semi-final at Valley Parade. City go into this game having drawn at Rochdale, victory wouldn’t have been enough to see the Bantams climb any higher in the final League 1 table. The Cod Army, also ending with a draw ending a run of three straight victories, looked a good bet for automatic promotion for a spell before they slipped off the pace.

A seven goal thriller at Bristol Rovers, including a late winner in a 4-3 victory, put Millwall, sixth, into the play-offs ahead of Southend. However, the Lions will have to show significant improvement to their form heading into this tie as Scunthorpe, third, might have felt 82 points would have ordinarily be enough for automatic promotion – the in-form Iron have won five in a row heading into the game at the Den.

It goes without saying the expectation; most definitely the hope at least, will be for a positive result. But will this happen? We’ll find out soon enough.

Ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which requires you to vote in the latest poll in one of the options you have been given.

However, don’t just look also have a say. We don’t just want your vote, which you can do to the right, we also want some thoughts and views ahead of the game as well so share these below.
