There’s no second chances, no return leg and bite at the cherry to turn things around. A one off tie, potentially just 90 minutes of football, is all that separate Bradford and Millwall from a return to the Championship – of course this can only happen for one side though.
Both clubs know the heartbreak of defeat at Wembley, certainly setbacks in the play-off. Millwall’s pain is most fresh though.
Defensively Bradford don’t concede too many whereas Millwall don’t have too much problem scoring, something’s gotta give – this could quite literally go all the way to a penalty shootout but a winner after extra time is where the smart money is expected to fall.
It goes without saying the expectation; most definitely the hope at least, will be for a positive result. But will this happen? We’ll find out soon enough.
