Fixtures

Tuesday 21st February 2017 – LEAGUE ONE
Charlton Athletic v Oxford United 19:45
Gillingham v AFC Wimbledon 19:45
Millwall v Chesterfield 19:45
Peterborough United v Southend United 19:45

Despite winning just three of the last 10 games Charlton are still just about in with a play-off chance. That eight points deficit needs to be cut quickly though with a win against Oxford vitally important for the Addicks. The U’s head to the Valley – beaten just once in the last four – a point and a place better off.

Gillingham’s first defeat in six – they haven’t won in the last 10 though – saw them drop just a point clear of trouble at the weekend. Wimbledon – without a win in five themselves – aren’t that much better off with the Dons also in danger of slipping towards relegation trouble so this is a crucial game for both at Priestfield.

Having recorded an FA Cup upset win over Premier League champions Leicester at the weekend Millwall return to league action looking for a fourth straight victory in League 1 that would take the Lions back into the top six. Second bottom Chesterfield have won just once in the last 10 and are seven points from safety heading to the Den.

Peterborough have lost four of their last six but are still just three points off Southend – in the final play-off position – ahead of this meeting at London Road. Posh can’t afford another slip up with the Shrimpers in a position to consolidate a play-off place potentially moving above Bradford into 5th.

It goes without saying the expectation; most definitely the hope at least, will be for a positive result. But will this happen? We’ll find out soon enough.

Ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which requires you to vote in the latest poll in one of the options you have been given.

However, don’t just look also have a say. We don’t just want your vote, which you can do to the right, we also want some thoughts and views ahead of the game as well so share these below.
