Well, what a Christmas present this could potentially be to either side if all three points can be secured – and both are in need of them too!
Faltering play-off bids could be revived with an added boost of a derby three points too. Millwall are seeking to end back-to-back defeats whereas Charlton haven’t won under new boss Karl Robinson – he probably couldn’t hand pick a better game for this to happen.
This is a game neither side wants to lose and both sets of fans desperately want to win so it goes without saying the expectation; most definitely the hope at least, will be for a positive result.
