The revamped (if that’s a good thing is open to personal opinion) EFL Trophy continues this week with the latest games played, the first at the knockout stage.
Among the schedule is one for us so the hope will be that this can result in a win. Then again, which is more than possible it could be a draw meaning a penalty shootout would be needed to determine a winner.
These fixtures will be spread over a period of weeks! The first tie will involve the academy sides from Wolves and Sunderland on Monday night with the final game of the round not played until Leicester’s academy side head to Cheltenham in the New Year.
