Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 Barnsley 15:00
Aston Villa 2-1 Nottingham Forest 17:30

Sunday 24th September
Sheffield Wednesday 2-4 Sheffield United 13:15

A third successive Barnsley defeat could see the Tykes drop into the bottom three – a QPR win on the other hand and they may move closer to a play off place.

Brentford moved out of the relegation zone with a convincing weekend win – coming over bottom side Bolton who head to Bristol City – which they’ll look to build on against Derby at Griffin Park.

A third straight win, when travelling to Burton, could be enough to see Aston Villa into the top six.

Meanwhile, a top of the table meeting will see Leeds – top on goal difference – travel to Cardiff – level on points but in third – for an early season potential Championship battle.

Ipswich’s run of three defeats in four has seen them slip down the table but it could be worse as Sunderland go to Portman Road in the bottom three following Premier League relegation last season – the pressure on Simon Grayson is growing.

On Wednesday, Sheffield Wednesday will bid to recovery from a Sheffield derby defeat when hosting a struggling Birmingham side – in the other game Sheffield United could well be top if other results go for them and they beat joint leaders Wolves at Bramall Lane.

What will happen in this one though? Cast your vote so we know if you think it’ll be all smiles or disappointment come the full time whistle.
