Millwall secured a win over Bristol Rovers in League 1 on Sunday.

Bristol Rovers couldn’t finish outside the top-10 but wanted a home win to end – Millwall knew a victory would assure a play-off place, which came as the Lions edged a seven goal thriller 4-3.

A first win in three means Millwall finished in sixth, ahead of Southend, who had also won.

Lee Gregory and Tony Craig had put the Lions two up, Gregory’s second was sandwiched between Jermaine Easter and then Chris Lines getting goals back for Bristol Rovers, who made it three-all through Paul Bodin late in the second half. However, five minutes from time Shaun Hutchinson grabbed the decisive goal to secure a play-off spot.
