Midfielder Liam Trotter has now completed his loan move to Bolton Wanderers.
The 25 year old is the second departure of the day following on from Andy Keogh’s loan to Blackpool, and presumably the contract extension is now off the table following manager Ian Holloway’s earlier words as with the loan spell being until the end of the current season, Trotter is out of contract then.
Since joining the club back in the summer of 2010 following two successful loan spells with us, he has gone on to make a total of 165 appearances for us, scoring 25 goals and this season he has made 19 appearances, scoring three times.
Like Keogh, Trotter will not be available for selection when we host Bolton at The Den in a fortnight.
