Manager Ian Holloway was delighted to see Millwall continuing to play and fight for each other following the game against Fulham.

Martyn Woolford gave us the win with a strike after only eleven minutes in the game and it was our third win of the season so far, and again there were so many positives that Ollie took from it.

Speaking to the official site after the win and another clean sheet, he explained.

‘We knew it would be tough but we looked sharp and together all the way through. What they spend and what we spend are two different things, but you wouldn’t have known that watching the game. It was a really well worked goal and I wasn’t nervous at the end. I thought we would go up the other end and get another one.’

Holloway goes on to say that throughout the game he thought our shape and discipline was fantastic and we made it very hard for them to break us down, despite them moving the ball well themselves but when they did get through, David Forde was up to the task again pulling off ‘three brilliant saves’.

The gaffer goes on to say that once again the fans were ‘brilliant, absolutely fantastic’ and he felt it was another day the whole club could be proud.
