Chris Taylor has now returned to Millwall on a loan spell that will run until the end of the current season.

Coming in from Blackburn Rovers, Taylor returns having spent the 2012-13 season with us where he scored three times in 26 games.

The 29 year old has since added 73 appearances to his name at Ewood Park since leaving, and has made 15 appearances so far this season.

Speaking to the official site after penning the forms for his return, he explained.

‘I’m really excited to be back here and hopefully I can make a positive impact between now and the end of the season. The boys have been doing really well all year and while we’ve got a great chance to finish in the Play-Offs, there is still a lot of work to be done. I’m looking forward to getting back out there at The Den on Saturday, if selected, at the start of a really important few weeks.’

Manager Neil Harris went on to add about the deal for the player.

‘Chris had a very successful season here at Millwall a few years back and we hope he can repeat the type of performances and level of consistency which he achieved first time around. He is exactly the type of character and professional who can fit straight into our squad and with his quality Chris will, I believe, prove to be a very important acquisition for us in the final weeks of the season.’
