Leicester striker Gary Taylor-Fletcher did join Millwall as speculated ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures.
The 33 year old completed his loan move until the end of the season on Friday, and the 33 year old joined us in time to make his debut as a second half substitute in our game at the weekend against Fulham.
Having previously been managed by Ian Holloway at Blackpool, both parties will know exactly what they are getting and he comes to us having spent a spell on loan at Sheffield Wednesday earlier in the season, as well as making two appearances for Leicester this year as well.
In his career, the versatile forward has scored 117 goals and he is out of contract in the summer I believe.
Speaking to the official site as the deal was announced, Holloway said.
‘It’s been a few years since I worked with Fletch and I’m pleased to have him here at Millwall. He has a really good brain and I like the way he plays. He links play brilliantly and can play in any one of the four forward positions. Fletch knows all these roles really well and I’m delighted he is here. I believe we can use his experience to our benefit.’
