The recent revival under Willie Donachie has gone some way to lifting the gloom around The Den, but it would only take a bad result or two to put the team firmly back in the mire. And Swansea hasn`t been a happy hunting ground for the Lions, who go in search of a fourth consecutive win for the first time since March 2003.

Vital Quotes:

Willie Donachie said: “Like every team in this League, Swansea seem to be strong and organised with decent players who work hard for each other. Every team in this division is a hard game, but every team can be beaten. We will go there without fear, but respecting them, and we will be prepared to battle like we have done in our last two away games. I think that the players have learnt that passion and hard work go a long way. They work hard for each other and we go into every game feeling that we have a chance.”

Kenny Jackett said: “Millwall is a massive game for us. If we can beat them, the chances are we will go into a promotion place and I think a few people will start to believe, most importantly the players. We have got to this stage before this season, where before a game people have said that if Swansea can win, they will be in business. We haven’t managed to win those games, though, and we’ve spent most of our time just hovering around the fringes .
But if we can win on Sunday – and hopefully win well – I think my players in particular will break through a barrier. They will start to believe that they can do something this season.”

Swansea Team News:

Kevin Amankwaah (ankle) and Garry Monk (knee) are out. Transfer-listed Leon Knight is still out of favour, while Adebayo Akinfenwa, Darren Way (both shin) and Rory Fallon (Achilles) face late fitness tests

Player to watch: Andy Robinson

The tenacious midfielder with an eye for goal is an astute passer and was one of the key players in his side`s run to the play-off final last season.

Millwall Team News:

Ben May (shoulder) and Jody Morris (knee) are out until around December. Tom Brighton (ankle), Paul Robinson and Zak Whitbread are also sidelined.

Player to watch: Chris Hackett

The former Hearts winger has been increasing influential in recent weeks and capped his resurgence with the winner against Bournemouth last week.

Phil Joslin (Nottinghamshire)

Match Prediction:

Swansea 2 Millwall 1. The south Wales side are one of the division`s more attacking sides but they have struggled to find much consistent form this season, so it`s not impossible that we could get a result. It may need another large dose of the good fortune we`ve had in recent weeks to continue our winning run though.
