Right back Mahlon Romeo has looked ahead to Millwall’s next game against Oldham Athletic and insisted the players won’t lose focus or take anything for granted against them.

Having only made his debut back in the Walsall game on February 6, Romeo’s performances have made him a regular in the starting eleven under manager Neil Harris and the rookie has certainly looked like an elder statesmen during games, which is a credit to how quickly he’s adjusted to first team demands.

The 20 year old has more than played his part in helping Millwall to being within one point of guaranteeing a Play Off spot this year as we look for a Championship return at the first time of asking, and speaking to the official site the ever present since his debut explained.

‘We’re not getting ahead of ourselves. It’s been a tough season and a tough last couple of games, but we are focused and concentrating on winning the next game.’

Hosting the side at The Den, the win last weekend for them against Crewe secured their League One life for the coming campaign, and it was their fifth win in the last eight matches, so he knows we can’t underestimate them despite the gap between us in the table.

‘We will not take anything for granted. We want to get the three points and have to stay focused.’
