Paul Robinson has called on Millwall to show every ounce of ‘passion and determination’ that they can muster when we take on Bournemouth on the final day of the season.

A victory on the last day of the campaign would secure our Championship status for 2014-15 and it would be the perfect way to cap what has been a disappointing season overall, but one which has seen the return of some hope with recent performances and results.

Speaking to the official site ahead of the game, Robinson said that only a performance that got the fans on their feet would be enough to end the season in the manner we should.

‘Away from home our result have been extremely encouraging, but we’ve been frustrated that our performances here at The Den have not transferred into more wins. Hopefully though, we can end the season with a home victory that has been a long time coming.’

Robinson goes on to say that he has no doubts whatsoever that the fans will turn up in numbers and in good voice to support the team and help us over the line, but he also clearly knows that it’s down to the players to do their jobs right and make it happen.

‘Our performance has got to be right to encourage that though, so from the first whistle we have to put Bournemouth on the back foot and play with the passion and determination that you can be proud off.’
