Skipper Paul Robinson is focused on regaining his full fitness in pre season training after missing most of last season with a knee injury.

Speaking to the BBC the 31 year old admitted last season was tough with him being on the sidelines, but the thoughts of leading the lads out again is what kept him going.

‘There were some tough times. I am building up and hoping to blend in fully and get myself back into shape and ready for action.’

The defender has turned out 334 times for Millwall after coming through our youth ranks, and he’s set for his testimonial match this summer which he no doubt wants to play a big part in.

‘It’s been a long time in the waiting and the making. I am looking forward to finally getting the game and celebrating my time at Millwall. We have fantastic opposition from La Liga (Rayo Vallecano) and it will be a great experience all round.’
