Paul Robinson has said the players will be doing all they can to put the loss to Blackpool behind them, and the more fans that we can have cheering us on against Charlton Athletic this weekend the better, because he assures fans it really does make all the difference to the players.

Speaking to the official site following the shock defeat, Robbo said.

‘The vocal support from our fans have been superb over the last few weeks and it will be important to us again on Saturday. This is the type of occasion that players love to be involved in and we must quickly forget about the Blackpool result and focus purely on the next 90 minutes.’

The result certainly wasn’t expected following on from the shock result against Derby County but they always do say that these things even themselves out. Some will take heart in the chances we created as being proof that confidence at least did take a shot, just not enough unfortunately to have finished those opportunities off which has to be the next battle we overcome.

Charlton would be a very good day for that to fall into place for a whole variety of reasons.
