Skipper Paul Robinson has said very few people will be putting money on Millwall coming away as winners when we face table toppers Burnley this weekend, but for those that do, he says the squad are looking to cause the bookies an upset.

Speaking to the official site ahead of the game Robinson said that the fans would remember former player Sean Dyche well and given the way he used to play, he doesn’t feel it comes as any surprise to see him drill his own teams so well in their style of play.

But we’ve done our homework and whilst everybody knows it will be a tough game as they have only lost once in the league so far this campaign, we will be going into the match looking for all three points, and bringing an end to the record that as a player and manager when facing us, he hasn’t been beaten in 12 previous meetings.

‘Sean is remembered fondly from his time here and he has so far proved to be a very good manager. Our experiences of playing against his sides are not too good and we know Burnley will be organised, tough to break down and full of energy. It’s up to us to match that.’

Robinson added we’ll have to show exactly the same level of commitment that we have done to get ourselves on this mini unbeaten run, and we’ll need every ounce of it to match them, and push them and with the right will to win on the day, he’s confident we can cause an upset.

Whether a victory seems a step too far or not, backing our last two draws up with another against Burnley certainly shouldn’t be sniffed at should it go that way, but all three points would certainly be sweeter.
