Defender Paul Robinson has moved to Portsmouth on a one month loan deal today.

The 32 year old leaves us on this spell having made 360 appearances for the club, and having had his testimonial last year.

He will arrive on the South Coast for training tomorrow following the formalities now being done, and he could be in line for his debut with the League Two club this weekend when they open the campaign against Exeter on Saturday.

Speaking to the official site as the deal was announced, Robbo said.

‘It’s a good chance for me to go and get some games under my belt. Portsmouth are a massive club and the chance to play so many games in 28 days was too big an opportunity to resist. Hopefully I can go there to improve my match sharpness and help a big club on its path to getting back to where it belongs.’
