Skipper Paul Robinson has called on his colleagues to bounce back when we face Blackpool on Tuesday night.

With the 5-1 loss to Derby still ringing loud in the ears, Robinson said that all the players were ‘surprised and extremely disappointed’ following the thumping loss but everybody was determined to go out there tomorrow night and put that right against Blackpool and give the fans something to cheer about.

Speaking to the official site ahead of the game, Robinson said that he felt we started well against Derby but once we went a goal down everything seemed to fall apart for us.

‘After a defeat the best thing that can happen is for you to get back out on the pitch as soon as possible, and that’s the opportunity we have on Tuesday. Our home form has been very disappointing for a long time now, but we have to make sure that Saturday is the bottom of that dip now.’

Calling on the team to ‘turn it around’ whilst they are stinging, he knows it’s vitally important that everyone sticks together and the camp regroup and give it there all, as whilst nobody can guarantee a result, the least the players can guarantee is a response and a performance.
