Manager Ian Holloway has called on the team to just keep on keeping on when it comes to our performance levels, commitment and the desire we have been showing in games so far this season.

Having picked up seven points from an available nine in the league, and having progressed in the Capital One Cup, Millwall are unbeaten so far this season, extending our unbeaten from the last campaign and Holloway has been obviously delighted with that an wants to see us continue in the same vein when we face Rotherham tomorrow.

‘What a fantastic, exciting, intense eight days we’ve got coming up. Let’s see if we can keep our run going for a big longer yet. What a job Steve Evans has done there with back to back promotions and I’m sure they will prove to be very competitive. I’m expecting another close, hard fought game, but if we can continue in the same vein we will give ourselves every chance of getting another positive result.’

Mark Beevers has also been in front of the press ahead of this game, and his focus was on saying how fantastic the fans have been and how they have helped drive the players on during this unbeaten spell so far.

‘Our fans played a huge part in us staying up last season and have been fantastic again over the last couple of weeks. They are up there with the very best and it’s up to us to give them the type of performances they deserve.’

Beevers goes on to say that the noise he heard when he scored his first goal for the club against Leeds will live with him for a long time, and he admits it’s something he hopes to experience again sooner rather than later.

Scott MacDonald has also said that he feels Rotherham will prove to be one of the most difficult games we have had so far this season given the confidence they will feel following their promotion to the Championship.

‘From all the reports of their first games you could see that they have impressed. Their manager will have them well drilled and organised and they will come here to win which will provide us with a good challenge. It’s a game we’re all looking forward to.’
