Goalkeeper David Forde and defender Danny Shittu should be able to be called upon by manager Ian Holloway for the game tomorrow against Yeovil Town.
Speaking to the official site much earlier in the day physio Bobby Bacic explained.
‘Fordey is recovering well from his right quad muscle strain that he picked up against Ipswich. The rehab for a goalkeeper is slightly different as it is more based on kicking and jumping. Fordey is one of four players in the treatment room with short term injuries. Danny, injured a groin muscle but is making good progress.’
Bacic goes on to say that Mark Beevers has a minor calf complaint and Nicky Bailey has a back problem, but equally neither of those two are expected to be out for too long.
Later today, it was confirmed that Holloway should be able to call on Forde and Shittu following their progress today.
For the Yeovil game also Shane Lowry will be missing owing to suspension, and new signing from Yeovil, Ed Upson, will be missed following an agreement when he signed.
