Millwall were beaten by Barnsley in the League 1 play-off final on Sunday.
It couldn’t have been a worse start for Millwall as less than two-minutes in Barnsley opened the scoring through Fletcher. This lead was doubled when Hammill curled home a second from distance to have Barnsley in control.
Millwall were back in the match before half time through Beevers when he scored from close range on 34-minutes but there wasn’t to be a Lions comeback with victory, and promotion it brought Barnsley, confirmed when Isgrove headed home.
