It’s being reported that Jermaine Pennant is now training with Millwall, and also that Richard Chaplow is training with Ipswich.
Starting with the former Stoke winger, he’s apparently looking to get his career back on track and having already reportedly trained with us earlier in the season, the Daily Mail are ow reporting that he’s back with us looking to win himself a contract and maybe even get a run out against Fulham.
The 32 year old became a free agent following his release by Stoke in January of last year, and he has spent time playing in Thailand and India, but now he’s looking to get himself going in England again.
In potential outgoing news, it appears Chaplow is being lined up for a loan to Ipswich as it’s being reported he is now training with them.
The 30 year old isn’t in Ian Holloway’s plans at the moment, and with him being out of contract in the summer, it’s likely he’ll move on and see if he can earn a contract with the Portman Road outfit during a spell on loan.
