Manager Ian Holloway has said that he feels Millwall are hitting form just at the right time now as we built on our last two victories with a valuable point against Watford having came from behind in the game to build on our now four match unbeaten streak.

Speaking to the official site following the two all draw on Saturday, Holloway explained.

‘We threw everything at Watford and it would have been a crime if we didn’t get something. We keep being punished for our mistakes but there was nothing wrong with our body language after their second goal. People might have thought that would have been that but the players believed we could equalise and we did.’

Holloway goes on to say that every player at the club is busting a gut to get us out of this mess, and our recent form for him proves that they are ‘running their legs off’ for this club and he’s also bouyed by the fact that he thinks we are playing well and playing good football now.

‘It’s important that we keep going whatever happens.’

The gaffer also again had praise for the supporters saying they had been ‘magificent’ and they never waivered in their support even at half time when we were behind, so he was delighted to see the players push on and get back on level terms as we did so we could send them home with something to smile about even if it wasn’t unfortunately another victory.

Now sat on 40 points we are only two points off Blackpool, and one point off Charlton but they still have two games in hand so pulling it together at the right time has certainly done our hopes the world of good, we just have to keep that going and the table could look a lot different after the next round of fixtures if we can pick up a very valuable victory over Middlesbrough and then hopefully other results go for us.
