Millwall were due to go to Boundary Park as the visitors to Oldham Athletic for the latest league match, which was meant to be 3pm kick-off however, this has been postponed!

Due to ‘weather conditions’ this League One game couldn’t go ahead, and it wasn’t the only one called off either as others have also suffered the same fate today.

A new date will be announced once agreed between both clubs and ratified by the Football League.

Manager Neil Harris said that he had sympathy for the travelling fans on the day, but he more than accepted match day referee Richard Clark’s decision.

‘We respect the decision made by the officials but my first thoughts are with our supporters, who will have travelled a long, long way to come up here for the game. It is devastating for them having made that length of journey, especially considering the time it was before kick-off. Ultimately, though, the officials have to take the safety of the players into consideration and that is what led to the decision being made. We have had a lot of long away journeys already this season so it is disappointing that this one has been wasted but it is something we have to deal with.’
