Manager Neil Harris has said that Millwall have received no approach from Celtic, Queens Park Rangers or Sheffield Wednesday for striker Lee Gregory.

Speculation in the media of late had linked all three clubs with a move for our 27 year old top score, but speaking to the South London Press Harris was adamant that no approach had been made, and an approach wouldn’t be welcome anyway, as the striker is not for sale and we hold on an option to extend his contract anyway.

‘There has been no contact from anybody. Lee is not for sale. Lee is under contract for another 12 months and the club have an option to extend the contract for another year.’

Having signed for £250,000 from Halifax Town back in 2014, Gregory’s stock has continued to rise as he found his feet and started finding the back of the net, and earlier speculation had linked him to Brighton and Hull City as well – but nothing came of that.

Harris was quoted at the time of the previous speculation as saying.

‘It only takes one person to say ‘he`s linked with a club’ and then it`s ‘he`s going’. I`ve not heard anything on these clubs. It`s new to me.’

Seems the situation hasn’t changed!
