With our away trip to Boundary Park cancelled late on last weekend, following discussions between the two clubs and with ratification from the Football League, a new date has been set for the League One tie.
We now make the trip once more to their ground on Saturday January 9 and the match will carry a 3pm kick off.
The eagle eyed amongst you will know that was the date we were scheduled to face Scunthorpe United, but with them beating Leyton Orient in the FA Cup second round replay on Tuesday evening – they needed to vacate that spot for their third round tie with struggling – but reigning – Premier League champions Chelsea.
Therefore it makes all the sense in the world for Millwall to take advantage of what otherwise would’ve been a free weekend.
Full ticket details for the new tie will be announced in due course, but for fans who have already made the long trip up to Oldham for the match once, their original tickets can be reused.
Anybody unable to make the rearranged date can get in touch with the ticket office to organise a refund.
The club are also laying on a free coach for those with existing tickets.
A new date for the game against Scunthorpe at The Den will also be announced in due course.
