Centre half Sid Nelson has moved to Yeovil Town on a season long loan and goalkeeper Jordan Archer has been drafted into the Scotland squad.

21 year old Nelson has now linked up with Darren Way’s League Two side and he will remain with them until the end of the 2017/18 campaign.

He could potentially debut for them in their match this weekend against Coventry City at Huish Park.

Having made his debut back in a two nil defeat to Bournemouth in December 2014, he has made a total of 38 appearances for the club.

In other news, Archer has found himself in the Scotland squad for this coming international window.

The 24 year old had made 98 appearances for Millwall following his arrival from Tottenham Hotspur back in February 2015 and he goes into their squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Lithuania and Malta.

Having previously featured for their Under 19, 20 and 21 squads, he now fights for the first team jersey alongside Celtic’s Craig Gordon and Hull City’s Allan McGregor.
