Manager Steve Lomas has signed Nottingham Forest midfielder Guy Moussi on an emergency loan until the New Year.
The 28 year old Frenchman joins us until January 2nd 2014, and first joined the Midlands club back in 2008. He has since made 139 appearances for the club, scoring three times.
His opportunities this season have been limited, but did in fact play against Millwall back in the Capital One Cup match back in August.
Assistant manager Mick Harford explained that Steve Lomas made the move for the player to provide cover following the departure of on loan Shaun Derry the other week as he accepted the position of player/manager at Notts County.
‘Shaun left us and we wanted some competition. Guy is big, strong and athletic and that’s exactly the type of player we’ve been looking for.’
Moussi has been handed Derry’s recently vacated No 17 shirt and will now join up with the team ahead of game next weekend against Barnsley on home soil.
As per the terms of the loan deal, he will not be able to play against is parent club when they travel to The Den on December 3rd.
