Striker Steve Morison has said that Millwall have achieved nothing yet other than giving ourselves a chance of promotion back to the Championship at the first time of asking this season.

Having had a good 2015/16 back in League One and ending strongly to book the Play Off semi places, an aggregate victory over Bradford City across the two legs has set us up for a trip to Wembley to face Barnsley in the League One final, and for Morison as he spoke to News Shopper having scored and assisted two in the previous games, he explained it was now about taking the chance we had given ourselves.

‘It’s fantastic to get to Wembley. This is what we’ve been working towards since we knew we couldn’t get automatic promotion. If you can pick a way to get promoted this is the best route, but on the other hand going to Wembley and losing is a bad place.’

With Barnsley only securing their Play Off spot in the final game of the campaign, but coming through the Semi Finals against Walsall in good fashion, Morison knows it’ll be another tough game as they are there on merit.

‘It’s great to be there, but we’ve achieved nothing yet. All we have done is given ourselves a chance – now we have to try and take it.’
