Steve Lomas has said he’s looking for Millwall to show some momentum and consistency when we face off against Charlton this weekend.

Following the much needed victory in the league over Blackpool in midweek, Lomas knows that Millwall need to take advantage of the confidence boost they had received and do all they can to make it back to back victories to give everybody – fans included – a boost following how we started the season.

Of course Charlton has it’s own additional meanings for Millwall doesn’t it.

Speaking to the official site ahead of the game, Lomas explained that as players and a manager these were exactly the types of games you wait for during a season because you want to be involved in them and you want to come out victorious in them.

‘There will be a great atmosphere at The Valley and we will go there looking for another win.’

Lomas said that the attitude and the performance in the Blackpool game was exactly what he had been crying out for from the lads, and having come from behind in the game aswell, it more than proves they are capable of competing with the best in this league given Blackpool sit in third place, so the challenge now is to repeat that commitment and put our rivals to sword so the fans can leave with the bragging rights.

Lomas added that he expected it to be a tough game, as they will no doubt be determined to pick up a result following their defeat to Huddersfield a few days ago.
