Manager Ian Holloway has already begun preparations for next season by announcing that four players will leave us this summer when their contracts expire.

Liam Feeney, Andy Keogh, Jack Smith and Shane Lowry will all leave The Den over the summer when their contracts expire.

Feeney joined us back in 2011 from Bournemouth and has gone on to make 83 appearances for the club in that time, scoring seven goals. with opportunities limited this season, he has had two loan spells out with Bolton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers.

Keogh joined us in January 2012, playing 78 times for us, scoring 18 goals. He also spent a large part of this season out on loan with Blackpool.

Smith is the longest serving of the four, having been with us for five years and played a key part in our promotion campaign from League One into the Championship via the play offs. In total he has made 123 appearances for us.

24 year old Australian Lowry, joined us initially on loan from Aston Villa back in November 2011 before switching on a permanent basis the following January. He was an ever present during the 2012-13 campaign, helping us to the FA Cup semi finals, and in his total of 82 games, he scored twice.

The club wish to thank all four players for their efforts during their time with the club, and wish them the very best for the future.

Talks with goalkeeper David Forde, and winger Lee Martin continue as Holloway hopes to tie them down to contract extensions.

Jermaine Easter has however already put pen to paper on a new 12 month deal with the club.
