New signing David Worrall has been speaking of how he’s enjoying life at Millwall so far following his arrival this summer.
Moving from Southend United to Millwall upon the expiry of his contract as a free agent, Worrall has been in amongst the lads following the return of pre season training and he feels like he’s settling in well.
Speaking to the official site as he adjusts to life at a new club, the winger spoke of his enjoyment so far and also how he’s relishing the ‘challenge’ that moving to Millwall brings.
‘It’s a challenge for me at this stage of my career. It’ll be my toughest one yet but I just felt like it was right and I didn’t want to shy away from it. I’ve enjoyed getting to know the lads. The training has been tough, and it will only get tougher for a few more days, but I’m enjoying it.’
The 26 year old will of course get to know the boys far quicker and much better during the training camp in Portugal, and they are over there now for the week long camp, and he’s excited about the friendlies rolling round, where hopefully he can start impressing the fans.
‘Once we’re back from Portugal it will be good to get some games and put on the shirt for the first time.’
