Following the trouble inside and outside of the New York Stadium in our game against Rotherham United at the weekend, Millwall have now released an official statement.
It reads.
‘Millwall will do everything possible to assist Rotherham and South Yorkshire Police investigating the disorder that occurred during Saturday’s match.
‘The club’s position remains clear – anyone associated with the club found guilty of violent behaviour will be banned from Millwall matches, in addition to any punishment they receive from the authorities.’
The statement goes on to say that the club will await the competition of all the necessary investigations before it comments on this matter any further.
