Justin Hoyte’s whirlwind training trial has come to an end, and he has now joined us on an emergency loan until January 1st.

The right back joins us from Middlesbrough and to be honest this deal has kicked itself through quickly than I was expecting, but at least it gives him good time to bed in with the team now ahead of the game ahead.

Hoyte already knows Scott McDonald and Nicky Bailey who were also both at Middlesbrough before joining Millwall this summer, so he should already have a reasonable partnership with them when it comes to on pitch business, and of course he admits they’ve told him good things about the club, so they can help him settle in quicker as well hopefully.

Upon signing all the relevant paperwork, Hoyte said he was looking forward to his spell at the club and it was a new challenge for him and one that he hoped would be successful for all parties.

Hoyte should be nicely settled on a personal note now he’s returned to London as being an ex Arsenal youth player, his family are in the area which should help.
