Sunday evening saw Millwall’s End of Season Dinner take place at The Den and featured speeches from both chairman John Berylson and manager Neil Harris given the League One campaign we have had this year.
With Play Off promotion in our hands and needing victory over Bristol Rovers next weekend, the annual awards ceremony took place and the MSC Player of the Year went to Steve Morison.
Skipper Tony Craig picked up the award in his absence as he was away on a coaching course in Wales. He pipped Ben Thompson and Byron Webster to the gong with them finishing in third and second place respectively.
Young Player of the Year went to Thompson and Goal of the Season was given to Jed Wallace for his cracker against Northampton Town on Good Friday and Community Ambassador of the Year went to goalkeeper Tom King.
Head of Hospitality and Events at the club, Veronica Quinn, was presented with the Chairman’s Unsung Hero of the Year award and Pete Garston received a special MSC award for his work as Fan on the Board.
Leigh Nicol took the Millwall Lionesses Player of the Year trophy also.
