The Den hosting the annual Player of the Year awards event last night, and with fans already knowing Jordan Archer was MSC Player of the Year – here’s the other winners.

With the 23 year old goalkeeper picking up 47% of the vote, and putting Lee Gregory and Ben Thompson into second and third place, he picked up his trophy on the evening.

Thompson himself was a double winner on the night, picking up both Young Player of the Year and Goal of the Season for his strike against Shrewsbury Town.

John Berylson couldn’t be in attendance, so he sent his apologies as his daughter is about to give birth – so congratulations to her!

With Gregory coming second in the main award, he picked up the Junior Lions Player of the Year trophy for the second successive season, and manager Neil Harris presented a special award to training ground secretary Karen Wilson – Steve Morison also picked up the Community Ambassador of the Year gong.

Lionesses manager Rebecca Sawiuk spoke of her hopes for the future, and presented Sarah Quintrill with the Player of the Year trophy.
